closing in on a decision.... wanna talk face to face with dealer first.... if these 300519 bars fit all batwings and r 2 up and 2 back, does that mean all batwings have the same stock bars ? dont think so... therefore what is the 2 plus 2 referring to ? ... dont want to end up with new bars that are not much different than my 2012 stock... puzzled

The 2+2 refers to 2” higher and 2” back. The +2’s are just 2” back.

In relation to your stock bars. I have the same bike and year as yours and I can tell you the KW 2+2 bars are quite different. When you replace the bars also replace the rubber mounts with the stiffer polyurethane handle bar mounts from HD.

OK, I ordered the 2+2's for my 2014 SGS.
Watched a video of the install. Pretty confident about doing it myself other than taking the ETW connector apart and not messing it up physically. Not worried about getting the color coding correct, but somehow damaging the connector itself or pins.
Thinking about cutting the end off and solder splicing it back together. Is this a really bad idea? Seems simple enough in my Old mushy brain.

Hello I’m trying to remove the push button plate on the left controls . Videos shows a small flat tipped screwdriver releasing the clip. Not exactly sure what to push on. Help please.

Don’t just pry up, slide it off to the left. The clip you speak of holds the two sides together. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/new-r...er-button.html
