Default 2019 Ultra

Bought a new 2019 Electra Glide Ultra yesterday. I rode my '07 60 miles to the dealership. It still ran and handled great, even though it was 12 years old and had 80,000 miles on it. Riding the new one home I couldn't believe the difference in the two bikes. The power of the M8 107 is above and beyond that of the TC 96. None of the inherent rattles, whines and vibrations of the twin cam 96. The 6th gear roll on from 45 MPH to 70 MPH. The old twin cam would not have liked it.
No CD player. No cigar lighter. They switched some of the controls around from right to left. Loud assed horn.
I can go out to the shop, get on a Sportster, Shovel, Big Twin Evo and a Twin Cam. Harley has come a long way in refining these bikes. We'll see how it does in the long run.

Congratulations!!

I had the same feeling when I got my 2018 last September, after being on a 2004 Ultra.

Congrats. I had a15 road glide and went to a hopped up 16 fxdls. Just got a 19 road glide standard and feel the same way about the noise factor. My twin cams were great motors and esp being at the end of the lifespan but where the power comes on in a m8, and how smooth it is, impressive. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine. But post pictures of the new pride and joy.

Congratulations. When I went from my '07 SG to my '15 Ultra Ltd, I noticed a lot of improvements. Going to a '19 must be even more striking. Post pics if you get a chance.

Congrats on the new ride, they are awesome bikes for sure. Personally I wouldn't be in 6th at 45mph, but I'm weird about that.
