I'm looking to replacem y rear brake arm on my 2012 ultra limited. I like the looks of the peg style. How does it compare to the traditional pedal? It looks nice but I think it might feel very odd. Thoughts?

For starters, the word is gibberish. I'm sorry you have such a difficult time with the English language. I simply stated I thought a peg might feel odd and asked if anybody has thoughts on that. It really is quite simple to understand. But hey, if you want to keep looking like a trolling fool... Knock yourself out.

 

Okay Simon, translate the simplicity of your post. Have you not yet had enough chances to edit/correct it? You know, to not make it look like a dummy posted it?

 

There is not a thing wrong with my post with the exception of the "m" in my being the last letter of the previous word. If you can't figure that out, well then we know who the real dummy is. Obviously you don't have a brake pedal with a peg on it, so why did you even bother posting in the first place? You have 20 pages of ridiculous responses and have irritated many others in this friendly forum. Seek help.

 

I'd think it would be more of a safety issue. A peg as you say looks nicer, there's more of a slip factor with a peg as opposed to a pad.

Unless you ride bare foot, I don't know how you FEEL the difference between a peg and a pad through a boot, or even a decent shoe sole. But, I have never tried.
