recurve windscreen for Road King
Who has or has used before a recurve windshield and how many suppliers are available. I went to my local HD dealer up here in Ontario and they have no supplier available. We don't have a lot to choose from up here. I was looking at a LRS 16' clear recurve but its going to take two to three weeks to get to me given its coming out of the US and will probably sit in Customs for a week as well. LRS seems like an excellent company but to ship it to Southwestern Ontario via US Post Snail Mail express is going to cost almost $50 US. I shipped a sportser frame up here out of Yuma City California for less than that. I asked LRS if they could ship via courier, at least I would get it quick and I don't mind paying more for that but they never got back to me. Any one have one?

I have there 20" recurve, it is ok, but I would rather have one from Freedom shields.

I put an LRS (first recurve I ever had) on my Road King close to 10 years ago. Still have it and great shield. Have bought a number of them from them since. IMO they have gone way downhill over the years and wouldn't drop another dime there. Was a time when you could call and get a decent answer. Now they are untrained monkeys. Best of luck in Canuck land.

I'd suggest you look at freedom shields. I have a the curved one for my road king. It cut the buffeting by at least 50 percent...still want to feel like I'm on a bike but reduce the fatigue caused by the wind. Holes lined up perfectly and the shield is thicker than the stock one. John's a good guy who always called me back, hopefully it's still the same way.
