All Harley has done is bring back a model they dropped from the lineup years ago.

And there is even less than the previous model........

No aux lights
Solo set where the previous model had the standard Electra Glide 2 up seat

Nice catch on the "no aux lights". I missed that at first.

One more thing left off are the passenger grab rails, which the original Glide had. Plus the "dog bowl" under the tree wind deflector which was also standard equipment on all the earlier Electra Glides.

I also think it's priced too high in comparison to the other Glides. It should have been around $16K, not $19K, for no more than it has on it.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they brought it back into the lineup. But ABS should have been standard at a $19K base price.

IIRC my old 08 standard was around $17k. I could totally be wrong. I see it as a Street Glide-lite.

It's still the same thing as it was 10 years ago when they axed it, a customizers bike. Same base structure without all the parts that people are going to put on a shelf anyway when they add all their fancy doodads.

Are the suspension pieces the same on this new bike as the other touring bikes? They are described differently for the new EG Standard compared to what is on the HD site for the others.

With LED lights, the Auxiliary lights are just for show.... IMHO not having them makes the bike sleeker

The rear shocks are the same as a Street Glide; 12".

I like it. I loved my 09 that I had. I am not real crazy about not having the aux lights and 12" shocks. I would have bought this model over my street glide if it would have been available at the time.
