I like the LRS Long Ride Shield that I put on my 2011 FLHTK. No problems. No distortion. Fits great. Easy to install. Great price. Company has recently changed and all new products and prices.

I don’t have any distortion with my Freedom Shield. Before this I had a LRS shield which also had no distortion, I just prefer the Freedom Shield between the two.

I have tired LRS, Clearview, and Freedom shields. The Freedom is the hands down winner of the three.

What's the height of that shield?

How do you like the touring width? Does it block more wind than the standard width?

I have 3 Long Ride Shields 10 , 12, and i think 18 . It's their tallest shield. They all sit in the closet. I just love the style and performance of the stock shield on my 15 RGS. Lots of smooth air. I do wear a FF helmet and ear plugs because yes clean air is NOISY not turbulent. Recurves do not create a clean air pocket or are they effective in any type of crosswind. They do increase updraft which is turbulent depending on wind conditions. I do drive the most aerodynamic fairing bike the MOCO makes the Rushmore Road Glide FWIW

I’ve had a Freedom Shield for two years. Top quality, clarity, and no distortion in the recurve. It’s more expensive than Long Ride Shield, but it’s worth the extra money.

Have you seen LRS prices lately? They've skyrocketed.

Have a LRS Ultra Squaretop Recurve I used once (2012 Ultra), got it 1" over the standard height due to the seat I was using (as it sat me a bit higher), but went back to my other LRS after the ride as this was a kiss too high.

PM me if interested in it. Sitting in the garage for over a year.

Freedom Shield. I ordered a Long Shield last summer and they cancelled my order without my knowledge.
