That Slime pump is the highest rated out there, but you will still need to buy the plug kit. For tube type tires carry a bottle of Slime. That stuff works. I used it once on a dirt bike and rode it for 10 days, in Baja, and it never lost an ounce of air. It won't work for splits, but it Will work for holes. Hope you never need anything and happy riding.

Make sure to check the slime inflator once in awhile. I carried one in my truck forever used it a couple bike tires and quads and went to use it and it was a no go. I bet I used it 4 times in a couple years.

That sounds interesting. Can ride on also be used with tubed tires ?

This is part of the pre-riding season ritual for me.
I ALWAYS make sure the tire pump works as well as having plugs.

I wouldn't recommend depending solely on Ride-On................

I put myself thru college working at several tire change shops. Every single 'fix a flat' type of compound I ever worked with creates a gooey mess inside your tire. Ive seen rim corrosion from this stuff and Ive seen sealing problems after its use. You honestly have to wire brush the entire rim after its use, and that in and of itself can cause sealing issues. Sure, it will get you home, but a repair shop will never be able to find the leak and you are just waiting for the gooey sludge to dry out or give out. My point is, learn to plug your own tires.

In my 20 years of riding Ive had one flat, and as luck would have it, there was actually a Snap-on truck in the same lot who had a tire plug kit.

This thread makes me feel like Ive cheated the odds....Its time to invest in a small compressor and plug kit.

So I'm leaning towards the Dyna Plugs and a couple of CO2 cartridges w/inflator tool. Put it all together in a small little pouch with the onboard tool kit and should be ready to go!

You don’t carry it, you put it in your tires and leave it in there.

I think SWThomas is correct, although I've yet to use Ride On with any of my motorcycles for fear of gumming up the inside of the rims. (I have contemplated trying some Balancing beads though). I do know that you can put Slime in inner tubes because I used to put it in my mountain bikes back in the day. worked great for thorns and crap.
