Had a little trouble flashing my tune with my fp3. Bike didn’t start. Re did everything and all went fine. Except I have this “P” light on my dash (picture attached). I have a 2018 road glide special.

Did you use their canned tune? Do you have slip ons? I just put a fp3 on my 2018 SGS and used their canned tune and selected v&h Eliminators 400 with standard baffles for my exhaust. Have the throttle progressivity set to moderate. Runs good.

Call Vance and Hines. Their customer service is really good. They can tweak your map in minutes and send you a new one.

Did you go back to the stock map and see if the light goes off?

Thanks all. I’ve flashed tunes on it a few times over the last year with no issue and no light. Returning to stock did not turn it off.

I read the thread referred for the fix. What does grounding the wire do? Does it just stop the light from working? Or does it solve the reason why it went on in the first place?

Also I know the wiring fix worked for the ‘14-15 bikes. But anyone heard of this happening on a 2018?

Default Fixed!

Got the light to turn off. Here’s exactly what I did: pulled the side cover off, unplugged fp3, UN PLUGGED THE 50A fuse, turned the ignition on then off, let it sit for two minutes then plugged the fuse back in and the fp3 back in. Light is off. Map is sntalled fine and bike sounded good. Just putting this here so people in the future can give it a try if they run into the same issue.
