Since I am not a fan of chrome I would powder the whole console.

I would powder coat the center black or maybe the whole dash black I think it would look good with the color of your bike?

I thought about that but the gauges and handlebar cover are going to be matched (close) to the bike so I thought it mike look better to match those. I'm now had another screwy idea. I thought maybe I would color match the spear on top of the nacelle also.

I'm afraid it might not look right unless it was a perfect match being right next to the tank. It will be close but the chrome dash gives a little separation.

Thanks,
Rick

Nice job ! The one thing that bugs me is having to look down to see those small idiot lights. That red strip in the console looks great too !

I'll have to post a front shot when I take one. I did the same thing with the spear on the nacelle. I originally had the handlebar cover the same color and then found out I had the wrong one. I got a hold of a new chrome one and decided it looked pretty good so I left it.
