Took me a long time to get accustomed to the Throttle By Wire system on my 14 as opposed to the push-pull cables on the '99.
Now that I've had the 14 a while I prefer the throttle by wire. At least until it fails ...
That being said; coming from the '99 FLHRCI to the '14 FLHP there was a world of difference.
The newer frame, 103 (even choked down with emissions), cruise control, etc.

Kinda sorta wrong. Trans gear ratios are the same right up until present. Rear pulley was different for 07 and 08 as it had 2 more teeth. $100 fix for me. I put a jap sportster one on. Now the same as the 09 and up.

Bang on for the cruise control parts though. Only available used for the 07.

I have an ‘07 with the stock 96” (slip ons, high flow air cleaner, V&H Fuelpak) and stock gears...I don’t find it anemic at all. I think it pulls great, and use my 6th gear on the freeway all the time. But then again, I am not drag racing or ANY kind of racing for that matter...just enjoying the ride.
