Upgrade to SE clutch spring.

Switched out my OEM for an SE spring. The pull is a little heavier from what I can tell with the bike setting in the garage.

The bad part is I tried to reuse the primary gasket and was not careful enough. It started a drip while I was filling with Formula +. I’ll get it buttoned up after I pick up some new gaskets.

Can’t wait to feel it hook up when I get on it!

The SE is noticeably thicker than the OEM.

Comp, Tensioners, Chain, and Gears are all looking good. Last time it was opened the dealer was putting in The SE Compensator under warranty.

Funny how that works. I bought a primary gasket and ended up not needing it. You didn't and do need it.

I ruined 2 clutch cables before I realized that the SE Clutch spring was the culprit. Good luck with yours.

Put one in my 2010 ultra after a mild build the only difference I noticed was 3rd gear no longer slips. When tot duty your gasket buy two cuz you’ll be in there again at some time

I gotta get this buttoned back up we’re about to get some 80° plus weather in the next couple days.

I also busted a clutch cable with th SE spring..not to mention my hand...try a aim vpc with a stock spring if this doesn't work out for you..

Unless you run a drag style clutch pack (short friction window), you will not see much difference in hook up. Adding a SE spring with stock style clutch (larger friction window) is just making it harder to pull the clutch in. Since I like the larger friction window, I pulled my SE spring that I installed in my 10 ultra. Still have it if anyone wants it.

So the SE Spring will not keep it from slipping? There seems to be a lot of post saying the SE did the trick?

If you're running a high performance motor, the added spring pressure will help with the slipping. If close to stock.. your experience slippage in 5/6th gear. adjust/replace the clutch, you don't need a new spring.
