Default Torque specs oil plugs?

Asking for a friend...

He has a 2010 Electra glide ultra classic with a 96ci motor. Was wondering, is the torque specs on his oil drain plugs are the same as mine on a heritage Softail?

14-21 foot lbs?

Thanks in advance!

yes,14-21 ft lb. If the o-ring is no longer round... replace it.

Replace the o-ring ever time. It gets hard with heat. May look good but may tear with reuse. Not worth the aggravation of figuring where the oil is coming from a month after maintenance.

Torque all good well but say there's an issue with the O-ring or if the plug is bottomed out I wouldn't go torqueing on it per say. Over the years that's one of those things ya try to get a feel for. IMO.

I keep a few on hand. But I have reused them for years. Not saying don't. But in my experience not needed. Granted it is easy and cheap.

He does not own a manual, but I do for my heritage. I figured the specs would be the same because I'm assuming it's the identical motor.

100% we will change out o-ring Everytime!

Has anyone actually ever had an oil plug leak? Like I said I go years. even if it were to, it is not going to gush out. Like I said doesn't hurt. Just laugh at how adamant people are about piddly stuff like this.
