, he
I know he can't go from his RKS to an Ultra for $1500 NOW. But that ain't my problem. He could have bought the ULtra AT PURCHASE TIME for the $1500 difference. That was my point. Why do you want to nit-pick this issue? Just because of my terminology? Well then, his bike isn't junk. There, are you happy now? Look, I really don't care what he does. IT's his wife.
BUT, he asked, and I told him. You may not like my answer, but that's your problem, not mine. I gave my opinion. You can give yours. No law says that I have to like your opinion, and the reverse is true also.

While I'm not as tall, my wife is just about the same height as yours. Moving her back and getting her foot boards that are a little higher will go a long way for her. The tour pack option mentioned is a really good idea. She will like the way the backrest on it feels, and it will give you more storage. With your height, she probably is below you helmet wise, so buffeting for her should not be an issue. Also, if you are running a rider back rest with her on it, run without it until she gets moved back farther. Seat wise, make sure its wide enough for her, it should be under 90% of her butt when she is sitting. It will help disperse the weight, taking more off her hips. Cruising pegs, make sure you put them in a spot that you can comfortably rest your feet against them but also ON top of them, it will give you more room to stretch. And stop more often. Like said before, even if you only stop at fuel stops, spend 10 min off the bike, walking and stretching. Also, a couple alieve before you take off will help with minor irritations between stops.

I have one of these in new condition, if you want it message me your address and I'll send it to you. Your wifes butt will love it. BTW, I bought my wife her own bike and we're both more comfortable
