Help painting my inner fairing
#31
WOW! What a difference...
When I was in the Navy, there was an old contractor with thick glasses that owned a brown ford truck. He wanted me to paint the hood flat brown, and the top of the cab a cream color. I kind of looked at him puzzled. He said the lighter color on the cab top will cut the heat down since he didn't have AC, and the flat brown on the hood will cut down on glare. So my paint store mixed in the required few ounces of flattening agent, I sprayed it, and the old guy said no, he wanted it flat as can be. So had my paint guy dump in half a can of flattener and that did the trick. it looked like the difference of Vivid Black compared to the Satin Blacks (can't think of what MoCo calls it)
