Did you move up from a smaller HD? What did you gain?

I started out on a '76 superglide, then the collection began, but when I went from the shovelhead to the softail I thought the ride couldn't get any better... ruined the softail by lowering it and putting a custom springer on it to match how low the rear was and it ended up making the ride of the shovelhead so much better. then I got a roadking cause I wanted to build a Vicla style bike and sell it to make a profit, 8 years later, the roadking is the bike I ride the most, it handles great looks timeless, having saddle bags for my wife to put her things in, hell, I can go get a small grocery list on the bike (FYI never buy eggs and assume you have put enough "cushion" under them.... big mess). looking to buy a tour classic now to add to the stable, but time will tell.

I moved from an '03 Wide Glide up to an '09 Ultra. I felt cramped on the WG. Now I feel very comfortable. Plus the accessories are better and there is far more storage. I hated going somewhere wearing the leather and helmet and having nowhere to stash it on the bike without leaving it out exposed for a 5 finger lift. It takes some getting used to, but there is no going back after riding the Ultra.

After 17 years on Harley touring bikes I purchased an 18 Fat Boy. Lightweight, handled great and looked awesome. After having it for 1 year I decided to purchase bags cause I was tired of trying to bungee stuff on the back of the bike. I went to the local dealer and they had a used Fat Boy same color as mine with bags and a windshield on it. After checking it out and pricing the parts I bought a black 19 Street Glide. Now I'm satisfied.

Nice garage... or is that in your house ! ha
Agree cmhdwg09, the Heritage is a great bike, buddy rides one on our trips. It does anything mine does, except music/Nav.. And he's dropped it 1/2 a dozen times starting out (slops), and keeps on trucking (I'll give him props for only one eye) . I do love his bike...

Doors you see in top of photo lead to a garage width closet with built in shelves on both side. Double door on left goes to a HUGE storage area.....I could put 6 bikes in there. There is a door on the right that goes into the terrace level of the house where I have an office, kitchen area, pool table etc.
Sounds great, right? Is great. But we need to begin thinking about downsizing and it’s going to be nearly impossible to leave this space behind. Good problem to have, but it will be tough.
