Road king spoke wheels-clean
I bought a 2014 road king with spoke wheels and white walls. Any suggestions on cleaning spokes and white walls would be appreciated. White walls will be gone when it is time to replace them. Bike has been in storage for a year.

Is there a Harley dealer near you? They would have equipment for that. Whether you buy there or not, it would give you ideas. Also Ebay or Amazon may have spoke cleaning kits, I don't know. Spoke wheels are classic and beautiful when clean, but I would rather ride than clean so I have cast wheels.

Wesley's white wall cleaner and a good chrome polish (there are many: never dull, S-100 chrome cleaner) will work wonders on your wheels. Lick Ratpick said, once cleaned you might decide to keep them. Either case, you just simply CANNOT ride with wheels looking like that. S-100 Chrome polish is not ti be confused with their spay on cleaner which is now banned from my garage after my wifes Dyna started with premature chrome pitting and cracked motor mounts. Unless this product is thoroughly rinsed, which I suspect was not, it can be very corrosive. It gets into hard to reach places like cable boots and engine mount and is very difficult to rinse. There are also products that adapt to your drill to buff your wheels and spokes. Prices vary widely, so shop around on the internet.
