Whoa 777 cam
1 Attachment(s)
Wasn't a typo. The Woods 777's actually should be called WHOA 777's. Finally after all these years I finally took the plunge. I choose the 777's for my STOCK 103 because I ride on the aggressive/fast side. I just picked the bike up today and rode a bit more than 4 hours. I can't believe how cams completely changes a stock bike. I'm so glad that I didn't go with the 222's. The 777's are perfect for the highway.
If I had to nitpick to find a problem, I'd say starting off (while at a traffic light), the bike seems to studder. Not sure how to explain this better. I asked my mod guy about adding more power. Since I have a 103, he said the 107 actually is a good compliment. We'll see next year, I need to get used to the power of the 777's. I'm not big on numbers but prefer my dyno-butt. For those who care, attached is the Dyno sheet from the installer. For the record, its a 2012 SG. S&S MR 103 mufflers; Vance & Hines Power Duals and Power Vision tuner. It's 11:50 PM, I can't wait for the sun to come up to ride again. |
Glad you like them! Enjoy

Get a 107 outlaw kit from FM my 107 is a blast to ride if your on the more aggressive side. I like running with the big bikes with my small motor

The 110 outlaw kit is only $100 more.... Any reason to not just go 110? |

guess that’s back on the table, if the desire to upgrade comes again. |

They have this new thing you can get for your bike; it's called a "head-light"! |

I also looked hard at the 222s, but I went ahead with the bigger cams as I eventually will go with a 10.25:1 CR Fuel Moto 107 and I don't want to buy cams twice b/c the 222s just don't work in a 107 that has compression. It's been almost 2 years since the 555s went in, and I haven't found the time or need to do the upgrade yet, but I have already purchased a set of low mileage set of 103ACR heads so I'm still committed to the 107 upgrade....maybe next year? A good tuner can tune out the off idle stumble you're experiencing. As you already know, the 777s didn't add any bottom end torque, but you shouldn't be any worse off vs. stock cams. |
Scheduled my 14’ SGS with FM for mid-Aug. Gonna do a bucket list item, never rode anything more than a 103 stage 1.
Going with a 110” kit, level B heads, 777’s, and Jackpot 2/1/2 head pipe. I hope I get the numbers they have posted on that setup. 👍 |
