Do cams from a Dyna 88ci work in an 88ci touring bike?

The cams from an 2006 Dyna will not fit any other 88 inch motor. In 06 the bottom end of the motor was really the new 96 cu in motor but it stayed at 88 inches. And Dyna's did not come with a B motor, only the soft tails did.

I'm aware of the '06 Dyna issues, but thanks for the replies. I guess I don't really understand the differences in the "B" motors, or how it affects the camshafts. Someone please educate me.

Ignore the differences between the “A” and “B” motors in regards to cams.
What are you trying to accomplish?

Looking at some used Andrews 21 cams from a '05 super glide and want to make sure they'll fit my 2000 Road KIng.

Well QC, I'm going to follow your advice and buy those cams. Partly because of your 66K posts. You are either very experienced or very verbose. Wish me luck. I need to go after the cam chain tensioners and the inner cam bearings so I might as well do the cams. Not many times you can accomplish three jobs in one disassembly. Thanks again for the advice!
