Default Autometer guages in batwing

ANYBODY RUN ANYTHING SIMILAR TO THIS?

Ofcourse the water temp gauge I would ditch...Maybe for a turbo boost gauge... Or just a clock. lol

I only ask because I have determined my factory gauges are terribly inaccurate and real gauges for be part of a solid foundation for a durable build. I have 4100 miles on my bike in the past 20 days. She's getting sorted slowly with locktite.

Ive never seen it done but would be pretty bad ***. I run Autometers in a drag car and recommend them highly. Your only hurdle would be depth and possibly sending units but I don’t see it being impossible by any stretch.

Hows the heat on the left foot/lower leg with that hair dryer hanging there?

Do you really need to replace the stock tach and speedo?

I have an AutoMeter oil temp gauge in mine, got rid of the stupid air temp gauge for it. 2 1/6" gauges fit just fine.

How have you determined that they are terribly inaccurate? If you want to waste money on gauges, why not get a set of Dakota Digitals?

Fuel guage way off is self explanatory, air temp pegged or nothing, oil pressure guage reads 0 when hot but snapon pressure guage says 3-5psi, volt meter regularly reads +\- 1.5v of digital multimeter.
