Default Lower oil pressure with mobile 1?

Anyone else using mobile 1 vtwin notice their oil pressure lower, when bike is hot? When cold it runs around 32psi. But, when it gets hot, it drops to around 22psi. This is at higher rpms.

34,000 miles. Was fine with dino oil in it. Pressure would stay around 30psi when hot. This just started with the M1.

I switched to Mobile 1 about a year an a half a go. This last spring I just did my 2nd oil change with it. Mine is a 2014 with 34,000 miles on it now. I noticed a similar effect as the OP but not as nearly a big of drop. I would say after the bike is fully warmed up the oil pressure runs 1 to 3 psi less than with HD360. Does it mean anything? I don't know. It could be there is slightly less resistance to flow which could be interpreted to be a good thing as long as the pressure is adequate enough.

Stick a piece of tape over your oil gauge, so it doesn't distract you, my local favourite indy would ban then if he could! Sounds as if your bike is fine, but if in any doubt go back to what you used before.

The oil pressure sending units on these motors vary considerably. I would not worry at all about it.

Sounds good to me. Was just wondering. No new noises. So I assume it is lubricating fine.

What is your idle pressure when hot?

Sounds like your oil pump is going away. I cannot tell any difference.
