Hell no, & I hope I don't!
Imagine a touring bike with a 100 mile range.

I'm gonna go ahead and say that people who own a big touring harley, don't want electric.

That's a pretty good ride for many weekend warriors. A nice Saturday ride to the dealer to be feed and appreciated.

Also, folks get too wound up on version 1 of most anything. Let’s see how the whole electric M/C concept evolves over the next 5-10 years. I predict that if they get somewhere in the neighborhood of 250mile range, they will be onto something.

Until they get better infrastructure for recharging stations around the country, range will not much matter. It could be 600 miles, but if I can't charge it 600 miles form here, it doesn't work on a tourer. At least not for those of us that actually tour.

You could have solar panels to supplement charge on the bag tops and the fairing. Hell, make all the tins out of solar panels.

I would love to buy a Tesla, but as stated above, charging stations are a problem. In the Midwest where I am, they are hard to come by. I can't imagine trying to take a long trip in one. When I travel I want to do max miles in a day, not stop every 200 miles or so to wait on a 4-hour charge. Let alone finding a station to charge from.

I'm intrigued by the idea, but I like my loud, non-EPA-compliant. gas-guzzling motorized toys. My 468 Big Block Chevelle gets a whopping 8 miles to the gallon. LOL.

How long does it take to refuel and get going again at present?

Will you still be able to complete an Iron Butt run?
