Thanks for all the tips. What got it was air. Stuck an air pick right to the piston and blew for a few seconds. Put the camera down and saw it about half way up the cylinder. Bent up a piece of wire and BINGO. Got it to the plug opening and grabbed with needle nose.
Good work. I fog my marine outboards. They have a thread that is made for a fogging oil can tube to be screwed onto, so you cant have a mishap like you did.
I dont fog my bike over the Wisconsin Winter. Just change my oil before storing. We have long Winters, sometimes 6 months .
