Embarrassed to say after almost 50 years of riding I went down for the first time. Good thing is I came out unscathed, wish I could say the same for my poor bike ( 07 Road Glide).
With that, I'm looking for some advise on parts. I need an inner and outer faring, HD wants a ton of money for the OEM parts so I am considering aftermarket. Any suggestions on a good as OEM aftermarket company.
Prior to this my bike was mint condition, I want to be sure when it goes back together it looks in original condition.
Thanks in advance for your input...
If there isn't any structural damage to the Fairings they can be repaired and repainted. Or at least that is what I am reading. I just laid mine down and am replacing the right side of the bike. Just ordered a set of 14+ Extended bags, Fender Extensions, Stretched Side Covers & 6x9 speaker lids & Latch Hardware from www.advanblack.com. Never let a good insurance settlement go to waste. Upgrade when you can. Changing the pipes from Freedom True Duals Racing to Vance & Hines 2/2 Big Radius. Replacing the radio to a Fosgate along with adding 6x9 Fosgate Lid Speakers. Thinking about replacing wheels to a 19" Front/18" Rear with Wrap Front Fender. Oh yeah I am also changing the Color. Tired of the Red Sunglo. Having fun working on my toy.

If you went down hard enough to damage the inner and outer fairing to justify replacement, you probably had cosmetic damage to lower covers, foot controls, engine guard, mufflers etc etc. It might be worth it to just get a newer bike vs the cost of fixing.
Good you're ok, maybe a description of the mishap might shed some light to others for prevention. Robs used harley parts seems like a good start, ebay, or just put an ad in the WTB forum here.
Thanks All! I Love this forum, always great information to be had. Rob's had an inner and outer fairing, Advan black has the stretch bags (not sure if I can wait the six weeks though). As for why I am repairing my 07, I just re-did the entire bike at 100k miles a couple years ago. S&S 111 - Baker 7 speed - Legend suspension and replaced every bushing, bearing, cable etc.. Thank you again for your input and concerns for my well being. I'm thankful I'm to be here and continue to ride!
Stay safe out there
