don't do this!
wife came out side and wanted to know what i was doing. told her i was installing a tour pack extender i just got from george anderson. she wanted to know why, so i told her as she gained weight i could make it more comfortable for her and it was made to adjust for more room!. Man, she didn.t appreciate it at all!. go figure. try to do something to make a riding experience better and it just don,t work out like you think. women,; what do you think i did wrong? oh well she will get over it, I hope!! lol. by the way , the extender is a great piece of work. give george anderson a call. very nice guy to talk to and do business with. not many around that is as trusting as he is. can find his address on other threads.

Dude.....women and weight....bad combination. NEVER a reason for doing a modification on the bike (other than a few more pounds in the shocks). Poor situational awareness on your part. Perhaps a "I wanted to provide you with the ability to stretch out some with the new configuration and make you more comfortable....blah, blah, blah..." You know, do it the female way and don't ever say the "weight" word again. Just add some space and add a few pounds on the suspension without saying a word to her. Dr. Phil |
