Default Vented tour pack

Is there a good way to vent the king tour pack? The amp I have keeps shutting off due to heat!

I dont think a vent would really help to the extent you need. What about a small cooling fan, or maybe shield the top of the tour pack, with some type of foil insulation to absorb the heat....

I think it's either move the amp or vent the box. Amp's give off a lot of heat and that heat has got to go somewhere.

Welcome.

You might want to post this in the Audio Systems forum. Probably have some folks there that have done the same, or maybe what the RK folks have done, as they normally have the amps in the saddlebags.

Shouldn't the amp be mounted underneath the Tour Pack? There it gets air and is mostly shielded from the elements.
