help finding lowered jiffy stand for 2020 ultra
Hello,
I searched until my fingers had blisters. well an hour or so anyway. I have a 2021 ultra limited and I have installed the "low" shocks from the low model of 2018 or so in an attempt to recreate the LOW model. I want to adjust my stand. I did the heat and lean, I think I overshot. I can probably fix it but I would like to buy a new stand if I can find one and it would be nice if it already came the right length for a 1 inch lower bike. I found several online, but they say they don't fit past 2018 or so. not sure why, but it makes me think I shouldn't try those. I already found out why the lowering kit should not be used (belt pulley hits shock adjuster) so from this lesson, I am hesitant to assume all newer stands will work. can anyone recommend a stand that will fit my bike and be the right size for using the "low" shocks, which set the bike 3/4 inch lower according to the literature. Thanks! |

I have my '13 King lowered front and read. The OEM jiffy stand looks like the bike might tip over on a gust of wind, so I went with these Pingel's. A bit pricier but I like the quality and the material is thicker than many of the others. The foot tab is longer than most as well. They sometimes have discounts on the holidays.

An affordable fix is to get a 6 degree automotive pinion shim set and cut/drill to fit behind the jiffy stand mount. Put so the thick end is at the bottom. (can get longer lower bolts if needed) I did this on my SG in sig pic with 1" lowering front and back.

I have heard about this, but I haven't removed the plate to visualize how this fits.

Thanks for the responses. I was hoping someone would say, here is the part for the older ultra low and it still fits fine.. that would probably be best. but there may be some changes to the bike where it no longer works...
aside of that the Pingle is nice, but at 250 bucks i will keep looking for something less costly. For now I just did the heat and lower, which I overshot a little, so instead of heating and bending it back, which may be a bad idea, I just welded on a pad of steel to bring it back up about a half inch. its OK for now, but i will keep my eyes open for a more atractive solution but in the 100 dollar price range. thanks. I believe you will find several options here.

See if you can find a buddy with a late model Street Glide and ask if you could try his jiffy stand to see if it would fit. Street Glides are 1" lower than ultras, so the height should work out, if it will fit and work on your bike.
