You want that M8 to make more power, change the cam. The intake and injectors, are waisted dollars, without going with a more radical setup. And for that matter, I don’t believe the 2-1’s actually help M8’s. I don’t know why, but they don’t. And, as Smitty901 stated: “Good non HD cam”

It has not been a big issue. Seems only those that are doing the highest end power builds really focus on it.
Or those that hear of it as an issue and panic.
114 with a good 22X woods cam AC and 2-1-2 headers . Not a bit concerned. My second M8.
First 107 ran great with S&S 465C AC and jack pot slip on mufflers. PV tune from Fuel moto.
Simple easy mod . And very reasonable cost.
Is that the 50 state exhaust or the Race Only? If its the 50 state compliant the SE tuner should be fine. If not. And youre not adding a cam than Id get the FP3 or Powervision. If you didnt get a cam and head work. Return the injectors. You dont need them. It will serve no purpose. I have that race only version and a 468 cam. Fuel moto told me not to do the injectors and they would add no increase in power.
I had future plans for a cam, the 55mm smooth bore is to replace a cracked plastic intake, the 2:1 exhaust is the 50 state compliance set. Since I'm not racing it. I can sell the injectors if I don't end up going bigger. No engine work.. but that's another subject in itself.
The Screamin Eagle tuner will only adjust within EPA constraints... for just an air cleaner and exhaust, it should be fine.. maybe not optimum, but fine...
Not sure what it can do for a new intake or if it will adjust for bigger fuel injectors...
Just curious, is there something you're not mentioning about your engine mods...?
Why the new intake and bigger injectors for OEM displacement, heads, and cams...??? I can't see why they would be needed or even beneficial...
no engine mods as of yet. Over the winter I'll hop up the cam a bit to get the true harley lope, the factory "plastic 55mm" intake has a broken/cracked ear. So I decided to upgrade to the 55mm smooth bore. I got the 5.5 injectors as a result from helping a stranded rider, now friend who broke down on the side of the freeway. I have the K&N upgrade air breather and hate the SE Street cannon slip-ons

I would scrap the fuel injectors, unless increasing displacement AND told by a competent tuner they would be needed... You want to keep fuel injectors within a certain percentage duty cycle... A good tuner will know what is needed for a bigger displacement build...
I get the new intake now, I was unaware they were an issue....
If you are off warranty, IMHO, get a real tuner rather than an EPA restricted tuner... I am partial to the PowerVision tuner... they have a few newer models that are slightly less full feature and a bunch cheaper... Call Fuelmoto and get their advice on which would work best....
Good luck with your mods...
