I am leaning that way. Simpoly because for me it's easier to convinve myself to spend $180. And if someday I buy something else someday I am only out $180. I don't want to sound snooty about $180 though.
It comes with a clone? So you don't need a computer or smart phone?
mine came with a tablet. People asked why just sell the software and let people download it to what ever device they wanted and the stated it was for troubleshooting purposes. That way it was easier for him to walk you through any issues. It's definitely worth the 180...pays for itself the first time so if something happens it's not a big hit.
Agree on worth it and see it includes tablet in ad. It does sound weird. He most have a source for cheap tablets. Or maybe people he is worried people would screw it up. This makes it simple and helps with the rep of his product.
Few years ago people balked about FI cause no one had computer in garage. So stand alone package may sell easier. They must just make some simple tablets cheap.
I am sure there are tons of videos and probably something in the manual too. But the gist is while bleeding, you use this device to tell pump to circulate fluid to get it all out??
The twin tec would be cool if can reprogram fobs and you had multilple bikes that could be set all the same. I don't

Mine was a really cheap Acer android tablet. Even on Amazon you can find cheap tablets for $50 or $60. Find some old stock and cut that price in half. It's really just an interface, doesn't need to be a good tablet. The tablet is so basic and really almost obsolete that it's not good for much else. That said, I don't need it for anything else and for a brake service, it's perfect. Stupid simple to use too! I've used mine twice so far and am due again this spring, so it's more than paid for itself, and I like that no one else puts a wrench to my bike.
Just buy ithe ITM, comes with a ipad clone so you doen tneed a PC or laptop. and it works. Owner is super respnsive if you have questions.
The last time I talked to ITM they said were still working on a version for the 2021 and later models, the latest version they currently have will only work on up to 2020 without RDRS.
Got mine. Maybe short sighted if I need one of the scanners that can do more. But I I measured my fluid, moisture was off chart. I don't see it in ad, but previous post mentions it mates to bike. For the price, that stuff always ticks me off. But way it goes. But they should spell it out, little sleazy, unless I missed it. But probably typical from these people.
They emailed me back when I asked about this. If I would have stated in my order they would have given me a second licesnse. It really should be clearly stated in bold. This is such a simple tool, I didn't think it would mate. its not a tuner.
But still its not awful priced, and keeps me from going to a dealer.
i paid the $600 and got the centurion pro from techno research with 2 licenses. it allows me to activate the abs, change security settings, enable/disable tpms, enable switchless ignition, and flash the radio for different amp/speaker combinations. it does much more, but i've saved the cost of the product in doing stuff myself that i would have had to pay the dealer rate to do and i have the tool and that gives me the option to change things in the future. it was a hard pill to swallow, at first, but with paypal credit giving 6 months to pay with no interest, it was easier. plus, my dealer is over an hour away and not having to get the bike over there to just flash it is worth it's weight in gold. if i need to get another license for another bike, it's like $40. easy enough.
i'm not sure how you missed the 'marries to the bike' part for the itm tool. been pretty much common knowledge since it was introduced.
