Default oil leak from front breather banjo bolt

I have an oilleak from the front banjo boltthat is behind the air cleaner and is part of I think the crank case breather line. Ithas leaked from day one, one or two occasional drops. Unfortunately, as I put more miles on, the leak gets bigger, now it blows out and down the right saddle bag, probably 1/4 quart per 1,000 miles. Messy.

Is this a rare occurance and easy fix with new washers or is it big?

Oil leaking from that area may indicate an over-filled oil tank. Try to keep it about 1/2 way up on the dipstick when it's hot. If it's leaking at the breather connection itself, I believe there's an o-ring in there that might need replaced. Usually, the oil comes out of the air cleaner since that's where it's supposed to magically be drawn into the intake to be burned.
