ACR Race tuner question

2008 Road King Classic
Rhinehart true duals
Screamin Eagle Air kit
Screamin Eagle Race Tuner
Trying to download a map from the screamin eagle race tuner software. Got all the way to the end and it asks me a question.....Do I want to enable or Disable the "ACR Solenoid"

What is this?? I can not find it on this board any where and also can not find in the Screamin Eagle instructions to run the program. Should I enable or disable? And Why?

Thanks in advance

RE: ACR Race tuner question

Nathan:

Open the Tuning Mode and select Help/Contents. Then select Programming the ECM, then Active Control Functions.

Refers to International Models that may have Active Intake and/or Active Exhaust. The ACR Solenoids are applicable to the 110" SE bikes (Automatic Compression Release) or modified engines with the SE Heads.

SO since I don't have them should I Disable? Why would this be an option on the file for a bike the is not the 110? They have a map for that bike.

Yes, select Disable!

From the above mentioned help files:

New and Changed Features

4.7.6 New and Changed Features

Tuning mode 4.7.6 adds support for 2008 vehicles.

4.6.2 New and Changed Features

Tuning mode 4.6.2 adds new calibrations for 2007 HDI vehicles and Active Intake and Exhaust functions for HDI vehicles that support this feature. All 2007 Big Twin calibrations have been updated to allow using the ‘Active Compression Release’ (ACR) function.

Refer to Active Control Functions for additional information on these new features.

What does "HDI" Stand for? I'm still not clear why they would offer this option for this map that is not for a 110?

I'm not questioning your source, just trying to figure out the reason HD put this option in if does not exist on my bike.
