Default Street slammer bars on a Roadking

I would like some adviseon fitting street slammer bars to a roadking. Ilike the lookofthe Street slammers, but I don't want to buy new handlebar controls to suit the 1 1/4" bars. I have seen similarbars advertised that taper to 1" so you can use standard controls, another idea was to buy pullback risers & dragbarsand use the street slammer cover. If anyone has done this or has photos could you please post an answer.

I have them on my 04 RKC and have not had any problems at all. I replaced all of my controls, but they are the same as the factory size.

See pics in sig for install.

Any one have any issues with them on '08- newer Road Kings with cruise control? It says in the '15 P&A book, will not work with cruise control equipped bikes. I can't for the life of me figure out why that makes a difference.

Did anyone get an answer to the cruise control question. Just picked up a pair, and saw the same warning. Unless the extra couple wires make a difference in fishing through the bars, I can't figure out why it wouldn't work?
