Default How do you remove the wires /6 pin connectors

I am installing front SG signals and you have to put the wires in the black connectors. I put them in the right order, just the wrong side. Now I cannot get the wires out of the 6 pin connectors? I know there is a barb that keeps them in but I can't seem to release it???? Any pics or tricks?

I have done it with a paperclip but it is not always effective. There is a tool for doing just that and your dealer should have it.

Either a molex tool or a paperclip will work if you are talking about the molex connectors. If you do a google, they actually have one site that demonstrates it, but I can't find it at the moment.

My dealer showed me how to make a tool out of a small allen wrench. You just grind the long end down to where it is a flat blade that will fit inside the connecter to release the pins. Whole lot cheaper than the snap-on tool.

Got it! Thanks for the links. Once I seen the tool and broke apart an old connector I had to see how it worked,it was a snap. A needle works great took a few seconds to do three!
