Helmet Laws
On another note, helmets are not for everyone but this year I chose to wear a 3/4 the entire 4000 mile round trip to Sturgis. You would be suprised of how your not wind beaten after being in it all day. You end up being really relaxed at the end of the day, keeps the hot sun off as well. Again, not for everyone, just my experience.
If you come through California you better have a helmet or they will ding you. I have never been stopped for wearing a none DOT beanie helmet, but then again you never know.
Thing was, I was wearing a DOT Approved Helmet but the sticker inside was worn and wasn't real readable. I had an inspection sticker on a plate bracket which came from the dealer like that, but he said it wasn't visible from his car so it was invalid.
Excessive noise, maybe, 4 into 1 header with collector and I did have a baffle. Exhibition, well, no wheelies but it took about5 seconds from 0 to 55 which isn't on it that hard.
I chaulked it up for Samson Park Revenue.
