I recieved my HDI,left dip,headlamp reflector (68344-05)yesterday and to my surprise it has a additional 5w wedge bulb in the reflector.It's below the H4 bulb. Can someone tell me when this lamp is supposed to be luminated? I can probably wire it to work any time but I need to know if it should be on with the headlamp ,low beam,high beam, acc switch,ignition switch or ???? Thanks 03 FLHR

 

I'm thinking that your lamp assy is like the a euro design with that 194 wedge bulb in the lower portion.

You prolly would be best to wire that bulb to light up when you have the ignition switch in the AUX position (turned to the left, in the non-run position)... well thats where I'd wire it! Otherwise you will never see it when the H4 is on low or hi beam in a normal run mode!

RAM; Thanks, I think you're right. It shouldn't be to hard to do. RICK; yes it's diamond cut ,sure looks brighter on a bench test than the stock 03 reflector or the later stock 05 diamond cut reflector.
