Cruise control won't shut off when pull front brake lever
I usually disengage cruise control by a slight pull on the front brake lever. Went to do it today and nothing happened. Rest of the 450 mile trip it worked intermittently. The brake light is working. Anyone else have something like this? I know i can switch how i disengage it, but after 2 yrs and 19,000 miles it's kind of ingrained. By the way, the warranty expired 4 wks ago today.

I'd check the distance you are pulling the handle to see exactly when the light comes on. You may just not be pulling it hard/far enough. I'd also suggesting testing it to make sure it turns off every time under a hard pull, front brake only, for quick stop purposes.
I know you don't want to change what has become a habit but since most of the time you are turning off the cruise is just to slow down some for traffic, I like to roll the throttle forward to turn it off.

When my 14 Limited was only a few weeks old I experienced the same problem as far as the cruise control. When I got the bike home I found that the front brake lever was not activating the brake light. The next day I took it to the dealer and of course when they rolled it into the shop the brake light worked as it should. The tech inspected the switch pack (Right Hand Control Module) and could not get it to malfunction again. He reassembled the control and all has been well for almost 3 years now. The 2014 does require that the brake lever be pulled further than my 09 to activate the brake light and disengage the cruise control. If possible I would have someone follow you to see if the brake light is working properly with the front brake lever. As stated in a previous post, the cruise needs to get a signal from the brake light to disengage so a faulty brake light switch (RHCM) could be causing your problem.

I Checked this morning and the light isn't always coming on. Looking at the repair manual it looks like the whole module has to be replaced? I took it apart and i'm Not a computer person so not sure what you call the wiring but it looks like circuit board connections in there. I guess off to the dealer to see what they say. It's a 14 street glide
