Default My Rineharts broke too... 2 into 2 Dyna full system

First the rear header broke, crack spiraled around the pipe from the sensor all the way around the pipe... I tig welded it back up and was all good.. but a month later the front broke completely off about 1.5" down from head... buddies said call Rinehart, they are excellent.. I called them.. here is how the conversation went directly after our phone conversation, on that call is when he stated I was 100% covered for the lifetime of owning this bike and pipes. (start at bottom of post as this was an email string...)

If you dont want to read ill sum it up.. they went from telling me on the phone and through email "no problem you are 100% covered for life because you are the original buyer!" to "sorry we stopped making those pipes so the warranty is no longer valid" ... Just thought you all should know, if you buy rineharts and think your gonna get that stellar warranty, it only lasts as long as that particular model is being manufactured... for reference here.. i bought my pipes new in July 2019, they were apparently discontinued in Dec. 2020 and they broke May 2021.. so I missed the replacment by a few months, having no knowledge of such clause... kinda shitty in my opinion.. and then to offer 15% off new rineharts for my trouble seemed like a slap in the face. I tig welded the front back up and im back on the road with 2 self repaired Rinehart pipes.. well see how long it holds up, have a 3,000 mile trip coming up in a month and a half... guess id better get my AAA insurance started...

I spoke to soon, did not register until you sent the invoice that it was a dyna and I saw that system part number, But the Dyna 2-into-2 system was discontinued in December 2020. Unfortunately with the discontinue the warranty goes out with it. And I have spent the last little bit here searching to see if we had any parts left in the warehouse but to no avail. I don’t want to leave you empty handed high and dry so I can offer you 15% off of our 2-into-1 for your bike and you will be first in line when that system comes off back order. Just let me know if that is a route you want to go and I can make that happen.

Thanks

Kyle Payne
