Anyone running Cobra mufflers on their late model baggers? How do they perform and sound? I heard their audio clip, for whatever that's worth.
I calledto order Rush 1.75 mufflers yesterdaybut dealer told me Cobras were quieter and the Rush would be loud no matter the baffle size. So I'm looking into these a bit. I did hear a while back that they werekind of a mellow muffler.
For what its worth i have the Rush with 1.75 baffles and i love them (sound and workmanship). i had a set of cobras on a different bike and nothing but trouble with them (the mounting brackets kept breaking off) same thing on 3 different sets of them.
I have hadsame experience that Rambler had. The damn mounting tab on the pipe broke, poor quality welding. You' ve already got pipes that you should stick with. Remember"IF ITS TOO LOUD, YOUR TOO OLD!!!!!LOUD PIPES SAVE LIVES!!!!! If it had not been for my loud pipes, I might not be here today. There are too many self centered drivers on the roads these days. I have been riding bikes for 22 years, and I don' t worry about mydriving, I worry about everyone else that I have to share the road with.
