Very deep throaty sound. Loud, but not to loud. I here my radio fine. Very nice addition.

Had Samson wide ovals on my RK and wasn't wild about them so the new ride forced me to listen to several different pipes.

I settled on the V&H true duals and the V&H Ovals

Loud when I want it and not so loud when momma is on the back but they do know we are coming as opposed to the stock pipes.

There is an old post with a sound video with a decent replication of the sound.

Running V/H basics with their true dual headpipes and like 'em a lot . Good choice , I think.... regardless if you go with stock head pipes or true duals .

I'm running them on an 08 Ultra with the Arlen Ness Big Sucker, and PCIII with the 818-010 map. Had the same setup on my Road King. They sound great.

Got em with stock headers on the 08. I really like them a lot. I had VH Oval with duals on my last back before the Fatcat. I like the Basics for sound and performance better. I liked the Ovals for looks much better.
