RE: Oil Filter
I agree,
K&N oil filtersare easy on and off. The nut welded to the end of the filter make it a breeze to remove, never a problem. chappy http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f6...psoilgroup.jpg ORIGINAL: SoCal_Pappy I have always used K&N oil filters - Easy on & off.. |

Eastern Performance has K&N's for a good price, get four for future jobs, they compare in price to Moco filters after tax, etc but better quality IMO. |

I do not trust anyone else to make a filter that carries the same micron rating as HD. I have seen where aftermarket filter companies list "all big twins '84 -up" WTF?? The Evo uses a 30 micron and the TC uses a 10 micron. Harley has engineered the system for the restriction (read: better filtering) of the 10 micron. I want my bike to last as long as possible, so it is important for my piece of mind that I am getting 10micron filter paper. My .02 anyway. |
