That's What We Get :-(

Drifting Texas started a post over the weekend complaining about having to mow his yard and all the warm days down in Texas and the good riding weather. I'm not sure but I think he was poking fun at all you guys up north. I, being the dumba$$ that I am [:@], chimed in about all the heat, good riding weather, etc... Well now it's Monday, a steaming 38 degrees outside, been raining all day and a north wind that will cut you in two. The forecast for tonight is 28 degrees with snow advisories. Up to two inches in the Dallas area and up to four inches around the red river. A little poetic justice don't you think?

Sorry for the remarks in the earlier post and I promise to never make fun of the weather that you guys have to deal with up north.....

At least until the sun comes back out here in TX, which should be about Thursday. Whichironically, will be just in time for another good weekend of riding.

It was 75 degrees while I mowed the yard. By the time I was done it was 73. Started cooking ribs and sausage on the gill and it was 52 when I pulled them off. By 9:30 PM is was snowing. Woke up Monday morning to 3 inches of the white stuff and drifts 2 ft tall but now it's all a distant memory and I'll be back on 2 wheels Tuesday. Just a minor set back. I couldn't see the ground for half a day and now we have sunshine. Them poor saps up north go for months without seeing the ground. I'll take this crap any day over what they go through.

By the way... how does one winterize a motorcycle?:D
