This sounds fishy to me......First you dont have a license to Transmit and the feds are gonna get you..............and secondly. sending the doppler shift back to a radar unit would require you to know exactly what frequency was originally sent out.
And with the units having a frequency variance of about 0.5 percent you would never know......
Dialing in the shift for 20 mphfor one radar could indicate 35 mph on another.
I keep my detector in a box in my garage, along with my old scanner and slr camera. City, State and Sheriff switched over to LIDAR. There's no radio wave scatter to detect, and you cannot beat the speed of light.[8D]
I have the whistler cruisader, installed itwhere the ambient temp gauge was, it has a blue led lightthatflasheswhen you get a hit. Seems to work well and does not clutter the handle bars, ( thats for the GPS and the cup holder ). I drilled a hole in the center of the fairing and installed the L.E.D light so it catches your eye while your looking down the road. Also got the remote L.E.D witch flashes red velcroed it to the windshield bag.
