I dont have an ULTRA...but I do have a Standard with tour pak addition. Just put the Mustang UltraTouring seat on a couple weeks ago....took a 350 mile ride that weekend. Both GF and I are pleased with it. No butt burn....GF said it was WAY MORE COMFY. That's good 'nuff for me.

Good Luck..

I put the one piece touring saddle on my RG... felt great, but my short legs don't reach the ground.... I have a stock Ultra seat on the RG now, and it allows me to reach the ground

mustang is sittting in garage waiting on me to figure out what I'm going to do

not trying to high jack the thread, but....

when you bought the mustang seat for yourultra (or classic), did you also buy mustang's matching back rest for the tour pack?

if not...how close doesthe mustang seat match up to the stock tour pack backrest?

for those who boughtmustang's tour pack back rest....how do you (and your passenger) like the new back rest?

thanks,

Artie

I have one on my '08. Great improvement over stock.

The angle of the seat bottom is tilted slightly down and back eliminating the feeling of riding the tank.

I would prefer the seat bottom to be more "bucket" like. As is, it's generally flat from side to side and does not contour enough for me.
