Need a single ISO grip
Left the house yesterday and within a few minutes I knew something was wrong with my throttle. It felt like it was sticking every now and then. I was making my way back home when I lost the throttle, I couldn't give it any gas. I coasted to a safe spot, luckily I was off any main roads.
I took apart the switch housing and saw that the plastic part where the end of the cable/brass ferule sit had broken off. Since there was no quick fix, I called the HOG roadside assistance number and within the hour my bike was on the wrecker. The closest Harley dealer was closed, on a Wednesday of all things, so I had the wrecker bring my bike back home. Since I'm a pack rat, I still had the OEM grip and put that back on today (only took 90 mins and a lot of swearing).
Anyways, does anyone know if it's possible to buy JUST the throttle ISO grip? The left side is still fully functional Hate to buy another one just to use as a decoration. I like the ISO grips and don't necessarily blame the grip for yesterday's failure. It's possible I installed it wrong, tho I'm not sure. I only had the grip on for 2 1/2 years. If anyone has had the same problem, please let me know and I'll find another grip to buy. Thanks!
