Any ideas what could cause this???
I have an 07 RK that I brought into the dealer to have my race tuner installed and dynoed. I have Vance and Hines true duals and thunderheader mufflers. After about 2 hrs on the dyno they gave me my bike back (99 ft pd torque and 85 hp)and on my way I went. I drove for about 12 miles and came to a stop light and noticed the bike was ideling up and down and does it all the time. I continued to ride the bike that day and the next day and had the thing stall out on me completely at least 5 times when I came up to lights or stop signs.
Brought the back back to dealer and they increased the rpm when ideling by 40. Still having the same problems, stalling out and ideling up and down. The bike ran like a top before I had the sert and dyno work done. The GM asked me about what kind of gas i run, like I dont know to put in 91 minimum and thought there maybe some condinsation in the tank. PersonallyI think they are just trying to pass me off. Plus,I look like a jerk off when the bike stalls out in front of people! What are your thoughts out there?

If you haven't done so already, fill the tank with the right gas (as you already do)--if it still idles poorly and stalls, take the bike back with a full tank of gasand show the condition to the GM and insist it be fixed. I wouldn't be worried about looking like a jerk when the bike stalls; I'd be worried about being run over by a cager approaching a green light while I'm trying to restart the bike.

I would ask for the service manager when they just blow ya off with a notion off the top of their head. If the SM says the same thing, ask him for the Motor Company tech instruction on it. If he can't produce anything from the MoCo saying that's the standard performance of the bike, then ask for the store manager and repeat the SMs words to him and see if anyone revises what they said.

Let me guess as soon as you pull the clutch in the bike will drop down to idle and die? I had the exact same issue and the bike was in the shop four times last year. It wasnt easiest to reproduce but one of the techs did finally reproduce the issue. They replaced the idle air control valve, which seemed to be the culprit. I guess when the valve goes there are no codes displayed. Have them check this out, im pretty sure it fixed mine.

Well as before.
The SERT is ILLEGAL for a street bike pollution controlled.
It is considered a race component. So HD isn't going to bother helping you.
The dealer needs to stand behind his work.
Put the bike back stock for testing and see if problem goes away.
If NOT then something has failed as mentioned above.
If it goes away, then it is in the tuning the TECH did.
Have them retune it differently.
Remember the O2 sensors are narrow band, but they will still attempt to return
AFR to 14.7 :1 (or close to it), this can cause a problem with the idle and stalling
at different throttle positions. They do this by trying to compensate for a rich / lean
condition in the exhaust.
But it could be something else too. Lot of variable here.
Hopefully you have the rare dealer that will really try, but I doubt it.
