20" ape hangers dimpeled and drilled for internal wiring broke 1/2 into at the bottom were the wires enter the bars any suggestion on reinforcing the bars there on a 05 RK Standard

You're not the only one that happened too.....my Wild 1, 518's (Road Glide Pull-Backs) snapped inhalf when I was manuvering into a parking spot causing me todump my bike. Upon orginal installation theshopdid not put on aone-piece top as recommended. Long pull backs and ape's have a tendency to crack the bars because of the increased leverage theyare subjected to.
Wild 1 was contacted and they would have warrantied my bars if I had kept my receipt of purchase but did offer the fix and an appology. The part number I believe is HD 55917-08.
Wild 1did expedite me getting new bars from the accessory shop I was puchasing from soKudo's to Wild 1!!!!
