Hello Guys,

My 08 Electra Glide with the standard cast wheels has balance weights on the front wheel but none on the rear wheel.

I checked my service manual and could not find anything about balancing the wheels.

I checked my Buell manual, Buell uses the same manual template, and found the following:" The maximum weigth permissiable is 1 oz on the front and 2 oz on the rear. The wheels are to be balanced to within a 0.25 oz. Balance weights are to be attached to the right side of the front wheel. It does not matter on the rear wheel."

So, does anyone know the specs for my Electra Glide?

This must be a tough question - no responses, but there has been a recent post on the benefits of dynamic balancing versus static balancing.

I don't understand. Usually if it is important, the manufacturere will spec it.
