Default Mirror Extenders

I'm tired of looking at my elbows and shoulders. The mirrors on my ultra leave a lot to be desired. Anybody try the 2 inch extensions Harley offers? Any help? There are also some 2 inch extenders on e-bay, but are not Harley brand. Less $$. But are they less quality.

What about Joes extenders?

I don't know. I typed in mirror extenders on the HD site and nothing came up.
Do you have a link?

I purchased the HD extenders (not sure of the parts #) about $30.00. Absolutely, without a doubt the best $30.00 bucks I've spent on my Ultra. I have a full view of everything behind me, instead of my shoulder and elbows.

I didn't really like the shape of the stock mirrors either so I bought a set of extended mirrors. I love em and can see behind me with no problem.

Here's a pic of the HD set onmy bike. As previously
posted, best 30. bucks spent. Makes the stock mirrors usable.

Here's what I did, bought a set of stock sportster mirrors there about an inch or so wider than the stock ultra mirrors.

I agree.... the $30... well RAISED PRICES in Raleigh NC charged me $36(first and last time I buy anything there) was well spent... on the Road Glide the stock mirrors gave me a great view of my knuckles... so if I was confused about where I was.... all I had to do was look down.... Now with the extenders... I have a clear view behind me...

Word of caution regarding after market mirrors... get CONVEX one because the all vibrate terribly... but the convex ones less so

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who think the stock ones suck. There are some extenders on E-bay that are cheaper than genuine Harley built......I may take a chance on those. I thought about putting on split vision mirrors, but I hear more bad than good...plus they are expensive.
