Default I'm trying to determine my rear shock length. Can you help me?

I have Prgressive coilovers on the bike now. I measured the shocks from eye-center to eye-center and got 11" exactly. Now they are on the bike so I was wondering how much the weight of the bikes would compress the shock while sitting on the side stand. Would you think these are in fact 11" shocks or maybe 11.5" or 12".

Put bike on lift ~ remove a bottom shock bolt ~ then measure.

Are they the 412 Series? If so, 11.5" I have the 412's on my Custom. Of course, I'm saving for the Arnott Air Tail..... HEEEE! Yo Ken, going up to Tail of the Dragon May 30th weekend if you're looking for a great ride.

Steve,

I'm pretty sure they are the 412s. They were on the bike when I bought it used and the shocks don't look exactly llike any of the ones I saw on Progressive's web site. I guess they change the appearance occasionally. I wish I could join you on that ride but unfortunately I can't. Besides, what would people think you and I riding together on identical bikes?

Too true...other than we have good taste? I have seen that progressive changed the look of the 412. I think they actually phased them out for the chrome covered variety.
