Well it's not the crown of the road. I know what that does. I have an 06 ultra and i can literally shut my eyes and the bike will track straight. There is something definitely wrong but i did not ride the bike bike when i bought it because the kit was installed before being picked up.
I called the service department a few minutes ago and inquired about the fork tubes being out of line and i was told that wouldn't cause it. ( It sounded reasonable to me). They told me to bring it by this afternoon and have them take another look at it. I will keep you posted. I'm definitely not happy with it.
well i stopped at the dealer after work and the mechanic took it for a ride. He says that all full dressers pull to one side. I DON't KNOW WHAT TO BELIEVE !!
Nonsense!! Mine tracks laser straight. I can ride no hands for miles if the road is flat. I've done it. Sounds like he just doesn't know what's wrong with it. Or else mine has something wrong with it . Hmmm.
Put your bike up on the jack and watchthe front end turn to the right from being pushed by the clutch cable.Starighten out the bars and you will see the clutch cable acting like a spring.Turn the bars right and the bike pulls to the left.Everyone has some pretty elaborate theories on the subject.Just my simple observation.Good luck.
Mine pulls a little to the left with no hands. I think most do. I guess what everyone wants to know once and for all is, isit normal or is something out of line?
Only MOCO knows and they aren't talking.
Fork oil equal quanitys are critical and could cause handling woes.Wheel brgs or slightly dragging brake rotor could cause a pull.Neck brgs, rear wheel alignment, motor in frame alignment and so on.Dont forget most roads arent perfectly flat and thatwe live in an automotive world.Wind will play a part as well as the items you carry.

+1
Depending on how my braided clutch cable is routed, my bike will track straight or pull, ever so slightly, to the left.
Thanks for all the responses. I appreciate the help and opinions of everyone. I'm going to try to find someone with an 08 dresser and try to compare. I am also going to call another dealer and ask for their opinion. Just wondering though, if the dealer installed the front end kit, and i had to take it back for a wobble and they ajusted the head nut twice, are they being paid from Harley to look into this problem? Maybe this is all related and they are not beingconcerned with my problem because there is no money to be made.

And you trust these clowns?
Ok..wtf ever. I'll continue to ride mine straight as an arrow then. Maybe MINE'S the one that's broke. Guess this is "normal"
