Any idea what the current best selling HD touring model is?
What about the current best selling HD bike in general?
I would think that the Street Glide is the best selling tourer, but I'm not sure about overall. Fatboy? Sportster?

I would have to say a fewyears ago, it was the road king. Used to and still see alot on the road. Now I really see a lot of street glides on the road. It's the bagger of the younger generation. That was the whole idea of the street glides......get the young kids to spend more money on a touring bike

 

Why do think they call it "ULTRA"

 

I would say the RK, or the SG. Just a guess

 

...I say Electra Glide..not sure if it's the "Classic" or "Ultra"...but definately Electra...go to any rally...they outnumber everything...

 

I see more RK and EG where I live. I dont think Fatboys and sportsters are touring . They are in the cruiser class. Well , the sportster might fall under touring, ( for women)!

 

Stealer told me that the SG was the hottest selling touring bike in 07when I bought mine last month, but who knows, he coulda just been giving me a line of BS because its the one I liked best.

 

The SG's have been the flavor of the month two years in a row!!!!!

 

I think it's the SG, since it came out. But the RK prior to that.
